Our story
It started with Bean.
Bean was a senior Dachshund pulled from a street dumpster. Abused, abandoned, skin and bones. But underneath all of that was a spirit so warm and bright it was almost unreasonable.
I called it sunshine. I called him Bean. Together: Sunbean.
I couldn't find clothes that actually fit him.
His long body, his short legs. Nothing was made for a dog like him. So I made my own.
And once I started, it felt obvious: I wanted to match with him too.
That was the beginning.
Bean lived a full, spoiled, sun-soaked life before he left us. His spirit didn't go anywhere. It's in the name, in every piece, and now in Boba, another rescue with a long body and an even longer personality. Sunbean carries both of them forward.

Our fit started with one very specific dog body. It's evolved to work on every dog body: small, long, wide, and everything in between.

Why it exists
I moved to the US in 2015. For the first time, I felt free to dress how I actually wanted to. Bold colors. Specific choices. No apology for it.
That's the energy behind every Sunbean piece. Not "cute dog clothes." An expression of who you are and who your dog is, worn at the same time.

Who we are
Sunbean is a founder-built brand based in Denver, Colorado. Founded and run by Cloe: designer, creative director, and the person who still answers your emails personally.
